As students, we must honor, protect, and promote our indigenous culture, we must protect our rigths ans lets spread more information about our culture. We must promote indigenous rights, this indigenous people month serve as a reminder of the rights in the Indigenous People Rights Act (IPRA)which guarantees Indigenous Peoples' right to self-determination, ancestral domains, cultural preservation, and participation in decision-making processes that affect their lives. By highlighting these rights, the observance encourages the government and other stakeholders to uphold and implement the provisions of the IPRA. The celebration provides a space for Indigenous Peoples to come together, share their cultures, and strengthen their communities. This fosters a sense of pride and identity, empowering Indigenous Peoples to advocate for their rights and preserve their traditions.
